Formation of North Bangalore Ex.Servicemen Association (NBEA)

NBEA is an initiative off a few members of ESMA (Ex. Servicemen
Association (Air Force)). ESMA was formed by a few Air Veterans residing
in and around MS Palaya area basically to maintain cordial relation with
retired Air Force Personnel and their families ( From ORS) residing in this
locality and be useful to each other by caring and sharing at the hour of
needs. It had developed a strong bonding amongst its members and
started providing social services and Charitable work . ESMA, even took
up the issue of establishing an ECHS Polyclinic at Jalahalli to cater the
Ex. Servicemen residing at Jalahlli and surrounding areas.

Vetran PGK Nair, a visionary with a mission to serve the Ex-Servicemen
fraternity, also a member of ESMA expressed the need of a vibrant Ex-
Servicemen Association comprising of Military Veterans from all three
Services and from all the ranks which could provide a very effective and
impressive strength to take up the major issues such as a full fledged
ECHS polyclinic, Property tax exemption and One Rank One Pension etc.
It was felt that ESMA alone may not be able to meet that kind of a larger
goal and hence decided to form an Association comprising military
veterans from all the three services and thus North Bangalore
Ex.Servicemen Association formed on 10th July 2010 at Acharya Institute
of Management and Science, (AIMS), Peenya, Bangalore.
